Recent coverage of LBP!
We’ve been demoing the latest builds of the game to various people, culminating in some lovely coverage (and a great PSM3 cover here in the UK which you can customise with your own stickers! it’s FANTASTICO! thanks guys)

That looks amazing, and it’s nice to see that the elements no the blocks can do more than just instantly kill you - the ice block sounds very intriguing, could be used for quickly sliding down slopes.

I think i would make a level were theirs lots of ice!! I also want to see other danger elements and maybe have water so you could jet ski.

I liked the exploding sackboy after landing on the electric block. Funny stuff.

The elements’ effects are really nice, this game is getting more and more complex by the hour.
I read on the MTV multiplayerblog that Stephen Totilo asked you Alex, if you could add water to the game. According to Totilo you told him, that if people want fluids, you can make them. We do, we do!!
Water would be awesome in this game. It would add a whole new dimension to the game. If you look at some of the many, many fansites and forums on the internet, alot of people are asking about the possibility of water in the game.
Adding fluids as downloadable content later on would also bring new life to existing levels ;o)

If this game will meet my expectations then it will be the best game i`ve ever play and with endless possibilities
downloadable content like mentioned water (fluids), maybe weather, imagine playing a desert level under the burning sun, vision could a bit blurred like when there is a really hot air or a japanese themed level during the rain 
that would be nice, anyways, right now i can`t wait for the game to come out but i ask media molecule only one thing 
to release more trailers

Real nice, the ice could be some good fun
But even for a 2D physics emulator like Phun thats nearly impossible to do, so i guess it wont be possible on a 3D engine (at least not on a PS3).
As some other mentioned adding water would be cool, but pretty heavy on the physics aspect of the game.
Although it would be nice to make a box with a massive amount of water in it and open it up at a certain point of the level creating a massive wave

water simulation is quite diffrent than ice GT4Ever. It takes alot more programming and is quite cpu heavy in too big quantities. Needless to say it would be very cool in a game like this though.

Oh hell yes put water in!!!!! actually if its going to cost the game to be delayed dont bother and have it as a downloaded extra!!!! wouldn’t it be cool if you could have a fish tank as part of the level!!!??? looking in on the sides of the glass an enlarged sackboy, and with him fully absorbed with water, have him trying to pull himself out and then running sluggishly until he drys??? the possibilities are endless! im buying this game on day 1!!!!
This new feature is probably the best new one I’ve seen in your game! This will bring along a whole new way of challenging players while playing levels. Truly Brilliant.
