Little Big Pop Up Shop
Rob Smith, brother of Mm ubercoder “Yellowhead” Dave brings us photos of the LBP Pop Up Shop from the wilds of Manchester. According to the email the nice people there “get children and business men to draw pictures of sackboy with crayons then play bits of the game and be shown how to make things with Popit. It sounds like they all come away pleasantly baffled.”
Pleasantly baffled is what we at Mm aim for. Well done Manchester!
The shop is open until October 4th and there will be lots of special events and workshops during that time. Click here for more info, and you can see a few more photos here.

Any more shop locations planned?
thats reli cool hope shop near me gets a make over like that n any news on the beta??
Hopefully something in Toronto Canada
!
We’ve been shafted out of everything else
cool
heading down there tomorrow because its not that far
That is so innovative! Kudos to whoever thought that
one up. One question, why so far away from Guildford?
Why not London? Thanks for keeping the LBP comunity
so well informed.
Put one in Bristol!
Seriously, I’d be in there more often than people working there…
Don’t let the Westcountry down!!!
A little big planet shop?
Woah guys, that’s huge. Are you opening up more?
Maybe a couple in norway? :3
What a really great idea! So maybe a giveaway for that Sackboy model, it would look amazing where ever you put it in the house. You could dress him up for different holidays, SantaSackBoy for the win.
I’d place him outside the store and let people stick stuff on him. Eventually he’d look nothing like a sackboy. Place a basket with outfits next to him and let people dress him up. Then post more pixxx.
Cool as…..
Wish there was one further south!
Oh sweet jesus,
i only live two hours away im gonna go at the weekend.
lbp i carnt wait
Will check this out the end of the month. Am I right in thinking the shop is open every day and just not event days?
Hey I was wondering if you could like give people the props that are there…because well I would love a huge cardboard Sackboy. Honestly, who wouldn’t.
There is a Manchester Ave. in Toronto, Ontario. Can I expect to find the shop there?
Seriously I’m jealous. Good luck for people who have the chance to go there. Make sure to post photos
If I don’t get my hands on the beta, I might have to travel 201 miles for London to Manchester to play the game. I really can’t wait!!

That’s awesome! I’ve never heard of this happening for any other game, which must mean LBP is going to be the best game ever. Good work guys, keep it up!
Considering one of the chief Mm team members is clearly Scouse from some of the past presentations. This is upsetting news that you would choose that location.
How dare that lady turn her back on sackboy ! lol
This is awesome! I want to go! Shame it’s in Manchester, but on the Facebook invite I got, it said that one would be opening up in London around the beginning of October, so just you wait, I shall be the first one there, eagerly awaiting my chance to experience this pot of gold xD
Damn, I really wish I could go
You open one in italy?Reply yes please xD
Oh my god!
That’s the single greatest shop in the history of the world. Would you mind moving Manchester a few hundered miles south? Pretty please?
went today
got a free t-shirt because i was one of the first 10 through the door lol lbp is amazing
Any plans for Leeds? It’s a nice place, if you ignore the people!
That’s great! Now build another 10′000 of those stores around the world and everyone will be happy
No, but seriously; think about opening a Pop-Up Shop in Switzerland, that’d be great
congrats on your T-shirt pyeman
Great idea… I wish there was around where i lived.

I’m contemplating travelling up to Manchester from London to go to this shop – I’d really appreciate it if someone could confirm there will be another one in the South at some point, because I’d rather save my money for buying a copy of the actual game in 4 weeks’ time!
I am sure the will be one in london i read it somewhere. it said mid october.
the one in london is now open in thoman neal centre in covent garden
