First up Mm would really like to thank everyone for all of the really great encouragement. Making games is great, interesting and creative but as with all creative projects there are stressful days!! These letters help to keep us feeling really motivated and remind us that it’s all about community, so thank you very much! 
Beta Trials?

My name is Adrian, and I’ve been following the development of Little Big Planet very closely the past couple months and I was just wondering when the beta would become available, and how I could become a tester.

We have received a lot of emails asking about how to sign up to our beta trials. We can’t announce anything about these yet, but will post onto our blog when the time has come Sorry for not being able to be more informative, but I promise that all will become clear over time. Release Date
This morning I came across an article on IGN that mentioned that the studio was pushing for a September release for Little Big Planet in the UK. My wife and I have really been looking forward to the game, and I’m wondering if you have an ETA for when we might see it here in Canada.

Mm>> Sony announced at CES that we are pushing for September/Fall 08! We are incredibly flattered by the letters we have recieved that have expressed disapoinment but we are committed to making a game that is high quality and delivers on the ambition of LittleBigPlanet and that takes time! Needless to say, the team here at Mm are all working really hard and there is some very cool stuff happening here, all of which is very exciting and will be unvieled as it’s ready

MM >> A frequent question in our inbox is “What is that music track in your videos?!”. For the most part we’ve been using Get It Together by The Go Team, from their album Thunder, Lightning, Strike. It’s a perfect fit for the high level concepts of fun and playfulness that we’ve tried to put across in our videos thus far. Get It Together will feature in the game and you’ll be able to use it in your levels if you so wish!

I’d like to say thank you for taking the time to answer these fan letters, (especially considering how busy you all must be!) I was also wondering about the release date, and although I am a little disappointed with the push-back, I have to say I’m happy that you guys are taking the time to make LittleBigPlanet the rapture of awesomeness that it truly deserves to be.

I did sign up to be a Beta Tester but i don’t think it will work. They have enough Beta testers… To bad it isn’t a Open Beta

Thanks for the answer to the Bety question, but there is still one question left which many people want to have answered, since there is no chance at all to get in the Sony beta trial program: When will the open beta for all users will come?

nice but i doubt we will ever see a open beta. but to a much more important problem why did you change the name of sponge to fluff? you should have left it like it was, now we get some stupid flashing orb things … oh well …

on one of the videos I watched it said that sponge was not the only reasoures, I don,t know if that is true but it would be good to have sponge and fluff! ( and any others)

I am a realy big littlebig planet fan and I can not wait for it to come out ( I would even camp outside a shop to get my hands great way to make an even better comunity (even with HOME on it!) . I am also part of the PSN and I think lbp is a BAING realised it will be great) . Keep up the good work and you will definatly be sing me playing in the online lbp comunity!

I think I remember MM calling the reasource sponge but even it the did not it is still a cool name for it! I however also think that fluff is cool ( then aging diferent reasources will be better than others, depending on the environment)

OMG! I want Little Big Planet to come out so so bad. I have pics of LBP even for my wallpaper! I watch the Youtube videos everyday no matter how many times i’ve watched them!!
Sometimes i even dram about what the game is gonna be like, and according to my dreams, I REALLY WANT LITTE BIG PLANET!!!!
