Question: Does the Beta Tester have to actually come THERE to beta test the game? Or does this mean that someone from say another country could be the beta tester?
I would be very interested in taking this position if it didn’t mean I had to actually move to do it.

Everything I touch breaks!
I notice even minor problems like my brain has some kind of amplifier for such things. Microphone booms on films, Graphical glitches, pop-in, frame-rate jitter detection, making things crash, knowing punchlines to jokes before I hear them, touching presents and knowing the contents before I open them. I need help obviously
At least with something like this, my curse can help people like an old pair or brown and orange trousers and t-shirt with an open muppet-mouthed panda on in the local charity shop can.

Not to be a jerk or anything but i’m pretty sure that 75% of the applicants for this job don’t even know what a CV is. Another, 20% know what it is but just can’t pronounce it.
The other 5% are over-qualified but would rather be a video game tester instead of a high-paying job. =P

What if we just want to play the game?… I’m 15 and live in America so I don’t even have the option of getting a G.C.S.E.. I am a grade “A” student thou. I just want a simple unpaid position as a casual beta tester, as I have school to worry about.
I have all the current next-generation systems. I’ve helped in betas before for independent game company’s and have more knowledge of games between multi platforms both new and old, than anyone I know.
LittleBigPlanet was the main reason why I bought a PS3, and it’s extremely disappointing to see this game getting delayed back, over and over again. With random people getting beta invites, instead of people who are extremely excited about this game.

Hello! Mt name is Grisha. I’m from Moscow in Russia. I’m looking a log time for this type of work. I’ve played in console games from 11th birthday (i’m 16). There’s maybe a lot of english speaking testers, but not many from my contry. I knw english not bad, but if needed i can start sudy for vore deeper knowledge. I look at the games without fan, so my opinion prooved itself. In the future i want to be a gamemaker, so experienceof tester will be great to me. Thanks for listening me.

This should be a blast!
I personally think this is a great job for someone like me, having grown up with 2D platform games like Super Mario World when I was 6 to countless other games like Yoshi Story, Crash Bandicoot, Tomba, Klonoa, Ape Escape, etc. I’d be honored.
It’d be easy to pick out bugs such, specially when it comes to physics, very important in 2D/2.5D games since there are so many things going on.

on a picture I saw there was a menu in the popit that said:

stickers only
disable poppits
So I think (and I could be wrong) that you can choose to let people add objects to you online levels.Which can be good if you have designed a challenge to get over a hole, it will stop people from making there own bridge from the poppit.

Hi im from Sweden, i Would like to be a BETA tester on this game. I know that many in sweden, norway and Denmark are thrilled about this game, if you guys want a BETA tester for LBP in scandinavia mail me and i would be as much of an BETA tester as you can think. About me, im 14 soon 15 years old i live near gothenburg in sweden. As im not living in England i don´t have any way of getting the “G.C.S.E grade ‘C’ or higher in English” i have a `G´ here in sweden and can speak it with no problems so if you are intressed mail me and you can get my phonenumber to my cellphone and homephone.
