LittleBigPlanet Concept Art: An iconic tree

Recently we've been digging through yellowing sketchbooks and forgotten drawers to unearth some really early pieces of concept art from all of our games, and seeing as this week was such an exciting one for LittleBigPlanet fans, we thought it apt to share something LBP related from waaaaayy back.

In this biro sketch by Kareem Mark, we can see the infamous LittleBigPlanet tree taking shape! We think this could very well be the first sketch of the tree, certainly one of the first. From these humble biro beginnings, to where we are today - what a crazy journey!

In case you missed it (unlikely I know) LittleBigPlanet 3 was announced this week at E3. It's not made by us, but after LittleBigPlanet on PS Vita, we have faith that XDev and Sumo Digital will deliver a great game for LittleBigPlanet fans worldwide. Exciting times! Check out the trailer:
