When the UK LittleBigPlanet YouTube channel launched back in April, it came in a hand with a competition that would see one lucky winner being sent on a round the world trip, courtesy of uncle Sony, and with a pocket full of cash too. The contest was to create a level in which Sackboy would travel to a world famous destination, and the winner was announced today…

Whilst this contest was for UK residents only, more contests are expected to pop up for other regions sooner or later, so keep your eyes peeled for your chance to win win win!

Sony Europe are holding a caption competition on the official EU playstation forums to win a pair of tickets to Glastonbury Festival ‘09, which is lucky, because they sold out ages ago… aaaaages ago.

All you need to do is think up a caption for the image in the video below, and send your entry to Sony - littlebigplanet@scee.net.

Specific Rules

1.This promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 16 years or over.
2.To enter this promotion, entrants must send an email to littlebigplanet@scee.net with the subject Glastonbury Caption Competition stating their caption for the picture published on the competition video found at http://www.youtube.com/littlebigplanetuk. All entries must conform to the PlayStation Community House Rules and must be plain text entries (no video entries are permitted).
3.This promotion opens for entries on 13 May 2009 at 18:00 BST and closes for entries on 21 May 2009 at 23:59 BST (the Closing Date).
4.This promotion is limited to one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize.
5.An independent judge will select as the winning entry the entry that it considers to be the funniest and cleverest.
6.The winner will be chosen on 22 May 2009.
7.The winner will receive: a.2 tickets to the Glastonbury Festival 2009 between 24 June 2009 and 28 June 2009 (camping equipment and transport to the festival will not be provided by the Promoter and are the sole responsibility of the winner); and b.a PlayStation®Portable console (PSP) and a Go!Cam PSP camera peripheral. Please note that tickets to the Glastonbury Festival 2009 are non-transferrable and subject to Glastonbury Festival rules.
8.The winner will be notified by email on 22 May 2009 and must claim their prize in writing by return email by 28 May 2009, providing all details requested in the notification. The Promoter will issue the tickets by post to the postal address provided by the winner along with instructions for their use.
9.The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, publish the winners name, photograph, winning entry and town of residence on the Promoters website(s).
