Mmonday Picks, Edition 2
2008October 13th
Well, the beta’s over, but that doesn’t mean there is a lack of content to share! Here are a few levels which got our attention this week, and perhaps they will help tide you over until LBP is available in the stores:
Mmonday Picks
2008October 6th
Hi team,
Here is the first of a semi-regular-maybe-never-to-be-repeated-quasi-weekly-roundup of cool levels we’ve seen or played here in the office, appropriately called Mmonday Picks, if it happens on a Monday:
If you made the cut, congratulations! You win nothing except our thanks for bringing awesomeness to LittleBigPlanet. If you didn’t see your level here this time, don’t lose heart but please keep creating - if you know of any epic / pretty / super fun /downright bizarre levels, don’t hesitate to share them in the comments!
Mm Picks versus Your Picks
2008September 26th

hello again, One last thing from me! It’s been a really exciting week and we have all spent a lot of time here and at home playing the levels everyone is creating. There is SO much great stuff, but the plan is for a bunch of us to do our own round up of our experiences so far! :)
While we’re writing that, what have been your favourite levels? TELL US NOW!

Wow, thanks very much for all the submissions, there were some great entries. And without further ado, here they are:

Seán Monaghan's giant sackboy eats the city, thousands flee before his terrible might. More news at ten.
Samantha's tasty looking swiss cheese paper sack boy...
Dylan sends word from our future where cybernetic sackpeople rule the earth.
Nessen made these characters you may recognise, you can download the pdfs here: 1 & 2
Apparently Joel couldn't find an orange...
And finally, sack people in love by Allen Wan. Awww.
If you've sent something in and it isn't on this page then sorry! Please resend it and I will add them to the gallery.
If you haven't made one yet then you still can, and you can still send in your photos. Have a gander at the original post to find out how. Of course we will post our favourite submissions on the blog.
Note: By sending photos you're granting us, Media Molecule, permission to post them on the blog. Cheers!
Giant Enemy Sackboy?
2008July 21st
And now for something cute, cuddly and as big as a bear, or a medium sized child at least. This massive sackboy was spotted at the World Hobby Fair in Japan.
Famitsu has a bunch more photos of this strange visitation here: http://www.famitsu.com/game/news/1216819_1124.html
And The Sixth Axis has a couple of screenshots of the custom level we made: http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2008/07/10/play-littlebigplanet/
Sackboy Papercraft
2008July 10th
Here’s something for you to make while we finish the game (we are working very hard, honest! The beta-trials are keeping us especially busy).
If you create and colour a sackperson you are especially proud of then take a photo and send it to hello@mediamolecule.com. I’ll post a gallery of our favourite submissions in a couple of weeks.
Edit: The mouth is quite tricky! Here’s a photo of what you should end up with: Papercraft Head

DevFace Episode #1: Meet Kenny!
2008April 18th

Meet the Molecules! In the first of what we hope will be a (regularly?) recurring series, we present to you: KENNY, or Wee Kenno as his dad calls him – audio designer extra-ordinaire and lover of bad movies….
He was interviewed by sackboy so we had to edit out the questions – the only clues are that the first one is ‘what is your name’ and the last is ‘what are you going to make first when LBP comes out?’. Without further ado, KENNY:
