Just before Christmas we blogged about LittleBigLand’s Create contest to make a level based on a famous fairytale, but with an LBP twist.

With over 90 levels submitted, a winner has been chosen, and a Sackboy has been crowned. Congratulations to mnniska, whose really quite awesome level - Little Red Riding Sack And the Sneaky H4Her  - took first place.

Are you snowed in? England is currently a wintery wonderland, and as the snow storms drift ever closer, we will soon be joining our friends at Sony Liverpool; snowed into the office, and forced to work harder to keep warm,

One fellow from the EU Playstation forums was bored of being snowed in and took it upon himself to make a Snow Sackboy…. it’s certainly one way of staving off the boredom!

Take care in the snow people! Unless you live in Australia or something and are currently sun bathing of course. Paint us jealous.

A new pack coming to the PSN Store this week will allow you to instantly unlock Sackboy as a playable character in Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic, an awesome game by our friends at Tarsier Studio.

This week sees the release of a Time Savers Pack for the game. This pack immediately unlocks all the extra playable characters and costumes in the game, including Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet and a range of other crazy costumes including a Frog and even a lobster!

Sounds like a big ol’ cheat pack for people who don’t have the spare time to put in to get the characters they so desire… genius!

If you fancy yourself as a bit of an interior decorator, and a fashion designer to boot, then here’s your chance to prove it to the world. How? Well, zim1985 over on the LittleBigWorkshop forums has arranged a Pod and Sackboy decoration contest, the winner of which will receive a coveted and much desired Sackboy Crown costume item!

You have until July 28th to enter the contest, so stop reading the internet and get decorating!

Arnold Drake is a Sackboy who lives in a little town called Clacton on Sea, in the UK. Arnold gets in to all sorts of mischief and keeps an online diary of his adventures. What’s he been up to lately?
Well, his uncle came to visit and Arnold showed him around the park, where they enjoyed a nice cup of tea together. Then they played golf and went skateboarding!

Jason Freeny – Illustrator, Artist and self proclaimed Crazy Person – has added Sackboy to his collection of arty nuggets that take a rather gruesome look at the insides of things like Gummi Bears and Lego men, now that takes guts!

The picture is featured in this month’s issue of Wired Magazine UK, which we seem to have misplaced around the office somewhere, either that or it has yet to arrive, so we don’t know what else is in there or what page it’s on. Maybe you can tell us!
