Lead Audio Designer
We are searching for a lead audio designer with both the experience and talent required to take the reins on one of our exciting new projects.
This is not a junior position, neither is it a mid-level position for aspiring leads – you must have proven experience in a similar role. We will only consider candidates who are able to provide an up to date show reel (although, if you’re experienced but out of practice then be prepared to do whatever it takes to prove your chops), have a minimum of 5 years experience working within a games team, and have shipped at least one title as a lead.
Requirements
- Experience as a lead; an audio director longing for a more hands-on role would be a good fit
- A sophisticated audio aesthetic, with a deep understanding of how sound, voice and music can be utilised to contribute towards a great player-experience
- Demonstrable world-class interactive sound design skills, both creative and technical (you’ll be doing most of the content creation and implementation yourself)
- A strong musical background, with all the advantages that this brings to the role but without secretly wanting to be a composer
- The general air of an audio ninja
- Salary approximately £40k (plus benefits), depending on experience
