Mark Healey and his friends make a Kung Fu movie
Made in the Guildford countryside one July with a budget of £50, and starring Mark Healey in the lead role, this movie went on to become the inspiration for Rag Doll Kung Fu. It was also used to make the game's cut scenes.

Pitching to PlayStation with Mr Yellowhead
Mark, Alex, Kareem and Dave pitched to PlayStation using the 'Mr Yellowhead' demo. This demo was a crude physics driven platforming game, with a multiplayer LAN drum machine built into it, and featuring a charater with a yellow head, who's destiny was to become Sackboy.

Media Molecule Founded
Media Molecule was founded by Mark Healey, Alex Evans, Kareem Ettouney, David Smith who met whilst working at Lionhead Studios, plus the man with the business plan, Chris Lee and our lovely accountant, Mags Hardwick. Soon After they were joined by their friend Siobhan Reddy, formerly of Criterion Games, Anton Kirczenow and Francis Pang.
